Well, the name YoungMoney.com, that is.
Apparently when Lil Wayne picked Young Money Entertainment for his label, he had to buy the domain name from a company specializing in entrepreneurial investment advice for young professionals.
Well it looks like Lil Wayne didn’t take that clause very seriously, because now the original owners are suing Young Money for the domain name after the rapper’s company refused to pay its $250,000 balance.
Lil Wayne bought the website back in 2011 for $600,000, so it seems a little odd that he would risk losing his brand over such a small payment.
Who knows, maybe Austin's less-than-stellar record sales actually caused some damage for the company. Or maybe everyone over at Young Money just needs to stop spending money on Bugattis.
