Even Madonna Has To Serve Jury Duty! But She Got Special treatment Doing It!

madonna jury duty red carpet treatment

An international pop star and Madonna still has time to do her civic duty?!

QUEEN!

Although Madge was reportedly 30 minutes late, the iconic singer took time out of her busy schedule on Monday morning to attend jury duty, a yearly obligation that Americans are required to attend.

However, unlike us normal folk, the Material Girl received red carpet treatment when she arrived at the courthouse.

Madonna was surrounded by two court officers, three policemen, two bodyguards, and an assistant.

If you're going to jury duty this week, don't expect to see Madge serve on the same jury as you — or anyone else for that matter!

Many of her fellow jurors were disgruntled over her special treatment and complained that her accommodations were totally unjust.

A court spokesman did explain why the Like A Virgin singer was allowed all these accommodations, saying that allowing Madonna to arrive an hour later would cut the distraction and allow her to still serve.

Ah, to live the life of a pop star!

A court source reported that the 55-year-old performer is expected to be released from her service after a brief appearance at the courthouse.

Looks like those involved in any cases will be missing out!

Uhm, check your facts. Jury duty is not a yearly thing. You get pulled whenever, but it is not an annual yearly thing. Some people have never been called and some have been called more then once.

Last time I got called, had to get excused for various medical reasons, I have served my fair share of jury duty over the years so I did not feel bad.

You know NOTHING about jury duty.

Under Federal law, you cannot be required to serve more than every two years. In NY, if you serve in Fed or State court, you can't be called again for 6 years. In my 15 yrs as a adult NY resident I've been called once

I hope she did not go to court dressed like that. Disrespectful to the court.
