Real Housewives Of New Jersey's Season Premiere Tackled Teresa & Joe Giudice's Fraud Conviction Head On!

teresa giudice rhonj episode tackles fraud

There was no way to ignore this!

Real Housewives of New Jersey opened their new season last night, and viewers just knew they'd have to address Teresa and Joe Giudice's fraud conviction.

And boy did they ever!

The show opened with Tre's headline-making story and court case as she denied recent gossip reports, and then the show flashed back to three months earlier, to when she hadn't yet been convicted of fraud.

But the court case was still everywhere in the opening episode as Tre talked to Dina Manzo about the struggles they're facing financially with legal bills.

The super heartbreaking part of all this, though, was watching their oldest daughter, Gia, deal with all the problems. She seems to be the only child old enough to comprehend what is going on, and it was terrible watching her cry throughout the first episode.

Even some serious sass from Miz Milania couldn't stop us from hurting for Gia!

If you can handle it because it's hard - the clip even features Joe's late father who recently passed - ch-ch-check out a clip from the premiere episode of Gia having a truly emotional and loving moment with Joe…AFTER THE JUMP!

I really cannot feel sorry for Joe and Teresa; they knew what they were doing the entire time they were committing fraud. The girls, however, are a different story. I hope that there really is an extended family base to take care of them and love them, because I'm pretty sure that both parents are going to serve some sort of time, even if Teresa gets to do it in their home, which will not be the one they currently live in, if they have something to say about it. The children need to come first, no matter what.

I mean she lives in that massive house and all this expensive furniture, if they are having financial issues SELL THE HOUSE and furniture!! A roof over your childrens head should come first to your precious mcmansion!
They didn't tackle rumors either Perez, they said they dont know why theyre being targeted by the govt and did nothing wrong. BS she didnt seem to want to even know as long as she could keep spending the money.
They should be ashamed of themselves I feel so bad for their kids.
