It seems like everyone nowadays has an opinion about who should get cast on The View!
Well, we guess that kinda makes sense seeing as it was a show based solely on opinions. But still.
And now, Meredith Vieira is just the latest ex-host of The View to share her thoughts on the upcoming season of everybody's favorite group talk show on ABC.
After the show gave the axe to Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd at the end of the 17th season, one of the biggest questions in daytime TV is who will be joining Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell at the table.
The former Who Wants to be a Millionaire host and original panelist told E!:
"I just don't know. It's very tricky because you can get four extremely accomplished, talented people, but the chemistry won't be there. So you can name anybody, but if they don't gel with Rosie and Whoopi, it's not gonna work. That's why it's so hard to create these shows, because chemistry is tricky."
In addition to giving her opinion on casting, Meredith said that while she's never gotten to know Rosie very well, (Rosie was Meredith's replacement back in 2006,) she thinks they must like her over at the show since she's back again.
We totally get what Meredith is talking about, though. You can't just put a group of people together and expect them to have a good rapport.
So what do you think? Who would you watch take over the seats on The View?
