Benedict plays brainy and heroic scientist Alan Turing, who uncovered the Nazi code to help win War World II.

He doesn't have a love story with the character or Keira. Alan Turnes was gay, we'll have to see if that part of his private life is in the movie.

Okay, First you watch an ad, and then you see a trailer that basically contains the entire movie. Well done,

The fact that he was gay was even mentioned in the trailer. He mentioned not liking her "that way" and the other character talked about something being illegal, which is was then.

As much as I'd love to see the two actors in a love story, this one will be one-sided.

I think whoever wrote the above is genuinely shameful.
Trying to entice people to see the movie based on romance between Keira and Benedict?
The movie is about a war hero that cracked one of the most important mathematical codes in history.
As 'reward' for his troubles he is arrested for homosexuality, pumped full of drugs with make him impotent and fat then commits suicide.

This is a shocking sad story, and not the 'love' story you think of.
So for this amazing mans memory I think you should re-write the article above cause its disrepectful

If you read David Leavitt's book: "Alan Turing: The Man Who Knew Too Much", you'll learn that British intelligence was extremely worried that Turing was susceptible to being blackmailed by Soviet spies. The Cold War was at a high point. Yes, the general explanation is that he committed suicide. But, the authorities at that time were capable of much worse than chemical castration (as happened to Turing).

Why wasn't Keira married to Benedict? In my opinion the perfect celebrity match …
