bride to be invites strangers to wedding

Kristen, a bride-to-be in England, had a super awkward yet amazing pre-wedding barbecue and wedding photo shoot when she accidentally invited a group of strangers to the festivities!

The whole thing started when Kristen sent an innocent invitation via group text to her friends and family…then things escalated VERY quickly:

Hah, we love the hashtag, #westillcoming! Perfect.

It looks like the strangers kept true to their word and DID show up…talk about commitment!

Hmmm…we wonder if they ended up going to the wedding!

Wedding invite via text? Really tacky IMO, get printed invites (unless the wedding is really small) and address them by hand like the rest of us have had to do over the years.
And do not even think about sending thank you notes for gifts via text, thosstee have to be written by hand also without looking in poor taste.
Yes it is time consuming, do 4-5 per day when you get back from your honeymoon, if your husband has decent handwriting, have him help as well.

The photos been edited, the text actually read that it was an invite to a birthday party, and the photo was of a wedding so it was obviously fake. This has been changed to make it seem real.

Must get your facts straight before posting any "news" on your website. The texts have nothing to do with the true story behind the photo. The couple's name is Amy and Ian and they don't live in England. They went to FSU and live in DC and had their wedding in Detroit. There was a rap group filming a music video where they were taking some wedding photos. google it.

This story was disproven. I believe it was Time magazine who actually went out of their way to interview the people involved. The couple actually crashed their music video shoot and danced in it! See the YouTube video of the group.
