Feel that 3rd degree BURNNNN, Jack Bauer!

While at Comic-Con promoting his new Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels, Freddie Prinze Jr. confessed that working with Kiefer Sutherland on 24 nearly lead to his retirement from the acting game!

What the WHAT! We had no sense of bad blood between these two…until now!

In the interview, the former teen star scathed:

"I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face. I think everyone that's worked with him has said that."

He laid it on thicker, continuing with even harsher words:

"I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE, for Christ's sake … but, at least he was cool and tall. I didn't have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do [at 24]. Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire me next time. You know I'm 6 feet and he's 5'4."

Looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar's man is tired of holding back!

Kiefer's reps haven't commented just yet, but we wonder what the actor recently did to Freddie to get him all riled up…

Must've been baaad!

What an asshole Prinze is. And he calls Kiefer "unprofessional"? Give me a break about almost leaving the business. His career was already in the shitter before "24". He's lucky he even got that role!

Freddie your career is in the toilet. Kiefer has had great success and 24 is bigger than ever! Your jealousy does not become you!

Well Freddie isn't a good actor at all. He probably should have given up. He wasn't good in that 24 at all…. good riddance Freddie.

I had totally forgot that Freddie Prinze Jr. had even been in 24. It's one of my favorite shows and no matter how Keifer may act around the cast he is the star and the show is incredible. Freddie don't be a hater, no one will hire you!

    Who cares. They're both jerks.
    Move on, world. They suck.

Sutherland is in his third decade of success as a popular actor. He is equally adept at comedy, drama, horror, and TV, which only a handful of actors can claim in Hollywood. Prinze has starred in…um..What the hell was he in, anyway? All I know him as is Mr. Sarah Michelle Gelllar.

Too bad "almost" wasn't "definitely". Would've spared us having to ever acknowledge he exists again, and would've made Kiefer that much cooler.

Maybe, if you ever become a real journalist one day, you'll know the proper spelling of the past tense of lead, and that when lead is pronounced to rhyme with led (oops, just gave away the past tense of lead there!) it refers to the element.

Are you serious. The money these people get paid and how many years later they bitch about a job. I don't care if Kiefer is 2 feet tall, he is 1000 feed tall on the way he conducts himself. Freddie you could learn a lesson. Thank you for all the years of 24 Kiefer, and heres to hoping for more in the future.

The whole thing must be an out and out lie…I know Kiefer is not 5'4"…more like 5'9"!

Re: Vicky – I think the technical term for Freddie is "haz been"

  21. Rabbit says – reply to this

Oh what a case of sour grapes! Keifer's career has lasted from his teens to now and beyond. I liked Scooby Doo but that's about all Prinze is known for. Someone needs to tell him to get a life. And, for the record, Keifer is 5'9". Not his fault Prinze is some kind of giraffe!

I've worked with both Donald and Keifer. Donald is an UBER A-Hole but Keifer is one of the coolest people I ever worked for/with in the industry. He's a darn good hockey player too.

It's how it translates onto the screen that matters. Truly artistic people have their own methodry to ready for a part. If Kiefer's a certain way, it works for his acting even if not for a cast mate. Ready your own part, and go with the flow. It's not an office job.

You guys are being a little hard on Freddie. I've liked him in a few things. Different strokes.
