michael johns alcohol involved death confirmed

As we exclusively told you first, sadly, alcohol was involved.

American Idol alum Michael Johns tragically passed away on Friday at a friend’s home in Orange County. It was thought that the cause of death could have been a blood clot, but now more info has surfaced.

Law enforcement sources have said that at the time of his death, Michael had been heavily drinking, as our own sources initially told us at the time of his death.

Since Michael had been to the doctor the previous day for a sprained ankle, it’s possible that pain meds and the alcohol mixed were a deadly combo, though that particular detail hasn’t been confirmed yet.

We’ll all know more after the autopsy is performed.

But until then, we’ll continue to keep his loved ones in our thoughts.

he drank. he died. But your headline says his death involved alcohol and you have nothing to substantiate that.

Reporting something that is not yet confirmed to just get a reaction, is journalism at it's worst. Why am I not surprised, Perez???????

Another site said the LA Coroner was not able to determine the cause of death during the autopsy but is waiting on tox test results.
