Well, this isn't cool. Not cool at all.
She doesn't have a ticket to ride, but she don't care!
A woman is being accused of actually making it past the handsy gropers…uh, we mean our nation's finest TSA Agents, and boarding a Southwest Airlines flight from San Jose to LAX without a ticket!
Ugh, TSA! You have ONE job!
Also, how did she get on a flight without a ticket?! How the heck does that happen?
"Ma'am, may I see your ticket? Just kidding! Sit anywhere you like! We trust you! In fact, are you the pilot? Here are the keys."
In our mind, planes have keys. Deal with it.
Marilyn Hartman, the lady who could probably be in the next Mission: Impossible movie, pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor trespassing charge after she was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday night.
As a result, she was ordered to 24 months of probation, three days in jail, and to stay away (not stowaway) from LAX.
Short of burrowing a hole underneath an airport Shawshank style, we really don't understand how TSA could let this happen.
This happens to be the first time she actually made it aboard a flight, which means she's getting better at this.
Meanwhile, this is what Mineta San Jose International Airport spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes had to say about the whole ordeal:
"She was screened for prohibited items. This was not a security breach."
How is this not a security breach? She made it past security without a ticket?! We get she wasn't packing an AK-47, but still…we think San Jose International Airport should be a LITTLE more concerned about this, no?
