Rita Ora Cancels Her Teen Choice Awards Performance Because Calvin Harris Won’t Let Her Sing The Song He Wrote!

| Filed under: Music MinuteTeen Choice AwardsCalvin HarrisRita OraBreakups

rita ora told not to sing song produced by calvin harris

This is the problem with dating your producer!

Rita Ora was so excited to sing her song I Will Never Let You Down at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, but she’s had to cancel because of relationship DRAMZ!

The 23-year-old singer’s ex, Calvin Harris, reportedly refused to let her sing the song he wrote and produced, forcing her to cancel her performance.

But the good news is that it will still be on her second album in September.

A source revealed that Miz Ora is “heartbroken” and “devastated” over not being able to do the performance, which makes us wonder why she didn’t just pick another one?!

There’s still time before the show tomorrow!

YESSS CALVIN! don't let her get fame through the song YOU wrote! she let you down and she doesn't deserve to get the benefits of singing your song. go boy! maybe you'll right a song for someone with actual talent.

Re: Yo mama – It's "write", not "right". She is talented, she is actually bigger in the UK.

    She can't sing something else?

Regardless of who did what to whom, it's very unprofessional to try to sabotage someone else's career. Who know…her performance of his song could have given it much needed exposure here in the US and given him another hit.

Re: JC – his song, his career, his to choose.

She sings better than 90% of the pop stars of today. Bad choice Calvin.

There was a poor choice somewhere, or she might have had the song.
