Simply heartbreaking!

While we still can't exactly put the tragic passing of Robin Williams into sensical words — his first and last leading ladies have spoken out upon hearing yesterday's horrible news.

Pam Dawber, who played the human Mindy to Robin's alien Mork on the popular 1978 sitcom Mork & Mindy, put fourth this simple, sad statement:

"I am completely and totally devastated. What more can be said?!"

Robin's final TV costar on CBS' The Crazy Ones, Sarah Michelle Gellar, had a bit more to say about a man who made a significant impact on her family's life:

"My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams. To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having. There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

So many tears!

While most of Hollywood has already spoken out about the comedic legend's death, these two females hit arguably closest to home for us.

From the beginning to the end, there was so much love for Robin Williams.

they both said such beautiful heartfelt words about this lovely but very tortured talent. He gifted so many with years of hysterics yet his inner demons could not be conquered. I am so sad when I read these types of deaths (suicides) espeically because there is such a stigma attached to mental illness that so many turn to silence and self medication to prevent being labeled. He fought hard to put a happy persona on, entertaining and giving so much of himself but inside he was slippng and he could not handle the overwhelming feelings of hurt. SMG said it so well and yes his family needs to grieve him as all families who lose someone in a way that could be prevented.

I have watched Robin Williams since his debut on Happy Days. I never missed an episode of Mork & Mindy. That man was hilarious. He was one of a handful of comedians who could truly be called a comic genius. There will be other comedians, other voice impersonators, other high-energy performers, but there will never - and I mean NEVER - be another Robin Williams.

I can't remember when I was so devastated by a celebrity's death. Felt like I had lost a really good friend. So sorry to his family.

Besides always admiring Robin for his natural knack for making people feel good I always did and will forever be reminded of the song "Tears of a Clown". Robin used laughter as a medicine to "fix" a hurt or lighten the load for countless people but it did not work for him.
I find this fact to be the cruelest irony in a career that seemed to supply everything a person could want. Above all we must be comfortable in our own skins.
