Jimmy’s eyes immediately begin to well up with tears as he talks about how much Robin meant to him. As an actor, as a comedian, and as a person.
“He was one of a kind. He’s one in a million. He’s like, unbelievable. If you ever saw this guy’s standup… he was amazing. And he was funny. And he was fast.”
Jimmy then rolled some tape of Robin during one of his earliest appearances on The Tonight Show, back when Johnny Carson was the host. Williams gets out of his chair and goes right into the audience! He’s so quick, the cameramen can barely keep up with him!
It’s so hard to watch a video of Robin Williams now because we want to laugh but can’t help but cry.
Just like Jimmy, we’re going to miss him so, so much.
