What the hell?!
After the True Blood series finale on Sunday, we were all left angered and confused that Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) didn't end up with Bill.
And not only that, but we didn't even get to meet the guy she married in the end!
Executive Producer Brian Buckner tried to defend the stunt casting, saying:
"What we wanted to know was that she was happy and living the life that she wanted to lead, and to introduce some other stranger in the last five minutes of the finale wouldn't have made a lot of sense.
We basically cast the man with the best arms from our stunt crew."
The stunt man in question is Timothy Eulich, who posted the above picture of the back of his to Twitter, keeping up with the show's decision to not let us see his face.
Let's get this straight. We invested seven years in this show, and they had the main character end up with a crew member chosen solely for his biceps?
But what we're most upset about is how the show tried to get us to want Sookie and Stephen Moyer’s Bill to be together — even members of Team Eric were accepting it!
The HBO vampire drama even had scenes that showed Bill "turning" human. We mean, his tears were watered down, his skin was warmer than normal, and Sookie was able to read his thoughts!
But no, he just died and asked Sookie to have a nice life with a stranger.
Remember that How I Met Your Mother finale that everyone hated so much? Yeah. This was worse.
