Kendall Jenner Finally Speaks Out After Receiving A Ton Of Backlash For Texting Scandal During Ferguson Moment At VMAs!

kendall jenner vmas comment ferguson moment

Remember that moment during the VMAs where we all thought Kendall Jenner and her sisters didn't observe the moment of silence for the people of Ferguson?

Her lack of attention toward the controversial event caused a social media frenzy!

People were definitely unhappy with that moment caught on camera, but the up-and-coming model is speaking out against those claims.

Kendall reassured everyone that she was participating in the moment of silence just like everyone else at the show.

She said at an event:

"I just specifically remember not texting and bowing my head down for the moment of silence and that's all I have to say about that."

We'll give Kendall the benefit of the doubt here, it might have been a camera lag or something!

Who would be insensitive enough to disregard an acknowledgement toward a horrible event happening in our country at the moment?

Not this girl.

She is such a pathetic little liar. She learned well, because they all are, especially Kim and her mother, when they lied about Humphries, and staged fake episodes, and were caught looking stupid.

First you want to give her the benefit of doubt for the money throwing incident, now for this. Lol why don't you just stop reporting on her entirely. It'll save you having to give her anymore benefit of doubt and the rest of us won't have to roll our eyes reading it.. Btw, is she gonna sue the camera man or mtv or anyone else that reported the story for defamation now??

It was actually CONFIRMED by MTV that them texting was exactly during the moment of silence. There was no lag and it wasn't a clip from any other part of the show. Of course you would give them the benefit of the doubt Perez, you always do. Check your facts and you'll learn that they are lying and weren't paying their respects as they should have. No one likes a fake, lying bitch kendall.

Maybe she just didn't care about a 300 lb criminal that was charging a police officer. I have no respect for him or the people that are tearing up their own town. This is just an excuse to loot and steal things.

She bowed her head for a moment of silence - a very quick moment - and was texting at the same time. She texts and drives, so I guess she can text and show respect as well. I'm sure her thoughts about the whole thing are, "yeah, whatever".

Well I saw it with my OWN EYES, and kylie was texting the entire time, kendall wasn't texting, but showed no interest whatsoever. it was hard to miss, and pretty fucking sad considering their niece is black. The whole family is pathetic.

Every pic I've seen kendall was showing respect it was kim and kylie that were very visibly on their phones

She is a cute little girl. A kid just being a kid. Cell phones, Laptops, Social media all have turned our society into a bunch of morons.

Why does she even have to explain….sheessh

For what reason should she participate anyway? Why is the country mourning the death of a thug?! He has a second degree murder on his record. He was no angel. We've lost better people and did nothing for them.

It was completely tasteless to have a moment of silence for the asshats in Ferguson, but since celebrities rarely read more than the first line of a news story - they can be excused for being ignorant. As to Kendall and her equally vapid sisters - they can't go a minute without playing with their mindless cellphones like zombies.

If the media outlets would stop plastering there faces on their sites, they would slowly disappear. Who really cares what they do, and by either bashing them, or sticking up for them is just giving them another moment in the spotlight. Stop, please.

Re: Jenn – right!! No "benefit if the doubt" for this family. They are the fakest..

Re: Perezisadumbass – you're stupid! Hopefully nobody close to you gets killed. Regardless of what happened, he didn't deserve to get killed. He could've gone to jail.

Re: Jennifer – that's a lie. I'm sure you think all black men are "thugs."

  18. 18

It took five days to come up with that?

  23. 23

She's lying. The Fat-ass-ians don't know how to tell the truth.

  24. 24

Fuckin liar. A moment of silence does not meant a moment to fiddle on your phone.

  25. amanda says – reply to this

I believe her….she was bowing her head during the moment of silence…bowing it directly into her phone so she could text. Ungrateful, unappreciative, selfish girl.

  26. Trina says – reply to this

That's interesting Kendall…in both the pictures and video of the moment of silence, all the people surrounding the sisters had their heads bent down in silence, the sisters however, we're texting and gabbing. Outright lying, typical.

  27. Devante says – reply to this

It was such a boring f u c k i n g show, I'm not surprised the vacuous trio were texting, and don't they do this all the time??? It's normal behaviour for them

  28. Debbie says – reply to this

Am I the only one who thinks that Perez Hilton is always on their side?

  29. jj says – reply to this

people just grabbed a single picture from them during the vmas and added a story! They didn't even film them during the moment of silence. People just starting shit and dumb idiots believe it!

  30. blueness says – reply to this

Of course she did not take time out to pay respect to others. Look where she came from. Where would she have ever learned about compassion, caring about others, civic duty, respect and generally how to not be completely self absorbed.

  31. jrex says – reply to this

yeah, cause that brood is all known for their reverence and respectfulness, right?
