No, not Allied...

All good things must come to an end, unfortunately!
Ellen Pompeo has been in the acting game for almost 20 years and on Grey's Anatomy for about half that time.
While the actress did sign on for two more years of the hit ABC show at the beginning of this year, she revealed in a recent LiveStream she isn't interested in continuing her acting career after the show inevitably ends.
"I definitely don't have a strong desire to act after 'Grey's [Anatomy]'.
I definitely feel myself transitioning. I don't find acting terribly empowering. For the place I am in my life, I think my age, once I hit 40, I feel differently. I don't necessarily want to work for other people."
It makes sense. Sometimes the show must go on — ironically!
The 44-year-old continued on to say she doesn't feel like she has to prove anything anymore.
"I feel like the acting has been a wonderful opportunity and I've done so much of it over the last 11 years. Maybe part of my personality is that I feel like I have something to prove sometimes and with acting I don't feel like I have anything to prove anymore. Even though I don't have no awards or Emmys or anything like that."
Well, Ellen has had a pretty good run over the years!
We wonder what's next in store for her!
