The show must go on.

After the passing of legend Joan Rivers, many wondered if her show Fashion Police would be able to carry on in her absence.

Well, we finally have our answer.

After joining co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, and George Kotsiopoulos for a tribute to her mother tonight, Melissa Rivers has helped them decide to keep the show going.

Read the emotional statement (below):

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms. We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police. We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. Fashion Police will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time."

The show will get back to protecting and serving the fashion world in January to cover the Golden Globes.

They will continue as long as there is money to be made. That's life.

BIG MISTAKE! Plus they are going to wait till January to begin again. Let it go.

    Re: ike
I really think they should. I was not a regular viewer. I really only watched for the big red carpet events, but I wont watch it at all now that Joan is gone.

…It won't survive…Joan WAS Fashion Police ! Maybe if they get rid of that FAT no-talent two-bit smelly fugly ugly English Weed Osbourne broad, the show would have a chance. As it stands now, she brings down the show…no one likes her. She also has FAT legs….j.s. …

Please, Perez, use your influence with 'E' and Melissa to bring Carson Kressley in as host of FP. I hear Kathy Griffin is being considered and I think that would be a mistake. Her Bravo show got canceled due to low ratings. I believe Carson is the right choice. Thank you.

I think you (and the Joan Rangers)) would keep watching if Joan's replacement were Carson Kressley. I had the same response as you until he popped in my head today.

WHO in HollyWeird is gonna take on all the closet cases and fakers and liars of HollyWood like Joan did ??? They are all such phonies, and suck ups. Joan took no prisoners…you will never get any of those two bit stars doing what she did.
