Calm yourselves, people. Chances are your new iPhone won't bend over like it's a little tipsy and has been winking at you all night from across the bar.

Know how Apple's newest iPhone 6 was reportedly way too easily bent to your every tap of the screen? Well, you might have to be a bodybuilder for that to be the case.

We all know Apple is crushing it in their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sales with 10 million units being sold in its first weekend, however in order to bend the new iPhone, you'll need to crush it as well. Sorry, but #Bendgate isn't real.

How much force for the smartphone to bend? Oh, just about 70 lbs worth! Start pumping your iron, or…you know, playing a lot of Angry Birds. Like, a lot a lot. Otherwise, you should be able to enjoy a very UNbent iPhone.

Well, I had a feeling Samsung or other competitors would probably blow the story/idea out or proportion to try to decrease their sales…

Ha ha ha, numbers tell all. iPhone 6 bends at 70 Lb while iPhone 5 at 130. If there wasn't for HTC iPhone 6 would be def the worst built.

So if you weigh more than 70lbs, and happen to keep it in your back pocket and take a seat, phone=bent.

Re: Lyss – it's quite common situation sitting on the bench in park with phone in your pocket.

    Just ask these kids

how easy it is to bent the new iPhones.
I think even Perez would bend it easily - wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Not that anyone cares here, but the place that test is putting the pressure is not where the defect is… It's toward the upper end of the phone where the side-buttons are.

Flawed video. Does not apply force to the weak point of the phone where the phone reportedly bends. Bendgate is real, stop trying to debunk it.

My iPhone 6 plus bended inside a Ballistic Tough case, #bendgate is real, it happened 7 days after i got it, it wasn't as bad as the videos but it was enough to notice it and it happened exactly where the volume buttons are, i've owned every iPhone since the 3G except the 5c and never had this problem, i went and talked to the manager at the local Apple Store and he denied that there is a problem, i had bought the 128 Gigabyte iPhone 6 Plus, $1000+ gone down the toilet
