The news that two park rangers had been stabbed in Boston Commons has left us shocked, and now more information has been released about the victims and the suspect apprehended.
According to Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans, police have arrested 34-year-old Bodio Hutchinson, a homeless man who has a violent past history, as a suspect in the stabbing in Boston Commons today that sent two park rangers to the hospital.

Bill went on to say that Bodio allegedly lunged at and stabbed the rangers, and that the action was unprovoked.
According to an eyewitness, the rangers had approached Bodio to put out his cigarette, and when he refused, a melee allegedly ensued.
Of the two rangers stabbed, one 46-year-old-victim is a 20-year veteran sergeant ranger who is now in critical condition at Massachusetts General Hospital with severe wounds to his abdomen.
The other ranger in question was taken to Tufts Medican Center and is considered to be in more stable condition.
Apparently, Bodio had warrants out for his arrest, and that he allegedly discarded the knife that officers later found.
