Male Strippers Quarantine Themselves After Sitting Next To Ebola-Infected Nurse & You Won't Believe How Lax The CDC Was About Their Condition!

If this is how the CDC is handling all of this, then it's unacceptable!

Male strippers, models, and romance writers Axl Goode and Taylor Cole were informed this week that they sat less than three feet away from nurse Amber Vinson, who has been diagnosed with Ebola, on a flight from Cleveland to Dallas.

So, they decided to voluntarily quarantine themselves! Axl explained their choice, saying:

"It doesn't take an intelligent person to make a good decision. If a stripper can make a decision that's more responsible than the CDC, then surely other people can make those decisions, too. It's not rocket science… I think the best medical solution out there is prevention. Then you never have to treat it."

Our thoughts exactly!

Then Axl explained how horrible it was dealing with the CDC! First, he sat on hold for 81 minutes before opting to have them call him back. Well, it took another hour and 40 minutes for that to happen! And all they did was take his contact info, and say it would be a good idea to stay inside, but gave no other advice.

That's crazy! No wonder other victims keep popping up!

When he found out, Axl also texted Taylor to tell him to cancel his trips for the next three weeks, and to stay inside.

The good news is that both men are doing fine, according to their Facebook updates, and people have volunteered to drop off food and help pay their bills while they're stuck in quarantine.

We're thankful that these men are thinking of the greater good, and hopefully they'll be fine, and back on the stage again in no time!

What they did is just right. Hoping and praying that this epidemic will soon be over.

The status of her license should be in jeopardy if she survives. She should have know better than to expose others after her own exposure.

Re: ItsMeCaitlin – Please don't call it an epidemic; it isn't anywhere near one. Will it become one? I don't know, but people need to calm down. The worst thing about it right now is how much people are freaking out, plus the media blowing things out of proportion.

Re: ItsMeCaitlin – Please look up the word epidemic.

The reason why the CDC didn't freak out is because Ebola is only contagious if you are showing symptoms, which she wasn't. Please don't question our health officials; they are doing the best they can to prevent it from becoming an epidemic in America. We don't need rumors and hysteria. All we know as of now is that a man who was in contact with Ebola patients in Africa has died of the disease, and he spread it to two nurses who are now is quarantine. Should she have gotten on that airplane? No. But is it likely that every person on that airplane will get Ebola? No, the strippers are most likely going to be completely fine. The worst thing about Ebola in America is how uninformed citizens are about it, so please stop the spread of ignorance Perez.

it is so irresponsible for you to post this story, perez. you cannot keep projecting fear onto everyone just because someone SAT NEARBY someone who developed ebola later on. come on! if you haven't touched someones poop or vomit or blood, you DO NOT HAVE EBOLA. these strippers are blowing it out of proportion for publicity. perez, you should know better.

What is irresponsible is you posting your ill informed and invalid opinion and causing irrational fear among your readers. Ebola is not air borne and is not spread through the air. It is spread in roughly the same way as HIV. Those men and everyone in the vicinity of the ebola-infected woman will be fine. CDC knows that and prioritized accordingly. As a public figure who influences the opinions of masses you should really develop some kind of conscience about what you write especially when it concerns public health. Don't they teach you that in journalism school?

Re: mariya – I highly doubt he went to journalism school. This is the most irresponsible posting. Shame on the writers at PerezHilton for "fear mongering." It's not like the quality of writing on this site is any good, but they should be more intelligent than this.

What the F….seriously, WTF? Her license should be in jeopardy? Please! She called the CDC who told her she was okay to fly! Should she probably not have? Maybe. But to say she should lose her license is a crock of sh*t! Are you risking your safety to take care of these patients? No? Didn't think so. Then shut the **** up!

i have a fever can u quarantine me with these guys please

  13. WTF says – reply to this

    13

Re: Misty – She was exposed to Ebola, had an elevated temp prior to boarding the plane and exposing hundreds to possible infection, and you have no problem with that? WTF

  14. ELLE says – reply to this

    14

EBOLA IS NOT AIRBORNE! IF THEY DIDNT TOUCH HER, THERE WAS NO CHANCE OF INFECTION!

  15. Sally says – reply to this

    15

Re: WTF – You obviously don't know how it spreads. As long as she wasn't vomiting, sneezing, and coughing up blood on everyone they are fine. People need to calm down. Ebola is a terrible disease, but it isn't the end of all humanity. The reason why it spreads so fast in Africa is because they don't have proper hospitals. The strippers need to calm down; they should be more worried about catching the flu from some ill bridesmaid.

Re: Sally – So you are saying she did not cough or sneeze while she was on the plane….How do you know this?

  17. Sally says – reply to this

    17

They have specifically said that she wasn't showing any symptoms and Ebola is only contagious when through person is. Plus I don't think a nurse would go around sneezing on people. Please don't listen to media outlets like Perez who are only trying to gain readers and stories through spreading paranoia. Just wash your hands, avoid touching other's fluids, avoid drinking after others, and follow all of the other rules they taught you in kindergarten. Ebola is a terrible disease to contract, however the common cold spreads faster than it does.

    18

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I know she wanted to go shopping, but at what cost to others and the airline. She has training in infectious diseases and should have know better.

    19

Re: Sally – That seemed so simple to avoid and yet two nurses have contracted it… So my dear, keep your kindergarden tales for others…

  20. Sally says – reply to this

    20

Re: the troll – Yes, because they were in direct contact with a man who was dying of it. How many people do you know who spend their days in the contagion ward at hospitals? I wasnt talking about the nurses; I was talking about everyday people.

Re: Sally – So according to you, it is virtually impossible that an epidemic breaks out in the United States?

First of All people NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE CHAIN OF COMMAND IN WASHINGTON. The CDC CANNOT OVERRIDE ANY STATES DECISION. The CDC SETS GUIDELINES AND REGULATONS , RESEARCH VACINES and things like that. The CDC CANNOT TELL A STATE WHAT TO DO WITH THEIR PEOPLE . That's why when New York and NJ SAID MANDATORY QUARANTINE COMING FROM WEST AFRICA CDC COULD NOT STOP IT so to say CDC IS doing something wrong in this situation is wrong. The State should have quarantined them
