Online daters beware!!
If you thought meeting a mate through the web was scary enough — just look what can happen when a relationship goes awry!
A 30-year-old woman named Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa is accused of illegally entering a Thousand Oaks, California home through the chimney, where a man she briefly dated resides.
On Sunday, firefighters used jackhammers to dismantle the smoke shoot, before lubing up the woman in dish soap so they could remove her from the tube.
Though the man, only identified as Lawrence, wasn't even home at the time, he shared his odd story of discovery with local news:
"She seemed totally cool until the first flag was her actually being on my roof two weeks ago."
Well if that's not foreshadowing, we don't know what is!
In closing, Lawrence did have some rather sound advice for anyone getting to know a stranger:
"Before you have somebody come in your house really check them out … really give it some time before you let somebody in, because they might want to stay."
Genoveva was sent to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center for evaluation before she was arrested on suspicion of illegally entering a residence and providing false information to a peace officer.
This situation could've turned out way worse — so we're glad everyone is alright!
