The pressure is on!
Luckily all the stars that have been tapped to participate in The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway are all pros!
Nina Dobrev, Melanie Griffith, Amanda Seyfried, Uzo Aduba, Peter Dinklage, and Pablo Schreiber are just a few stars who will be participating in the 14th annual benefit, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway.
The title of the benefit is essentially what it is. Over a dozen of chosen actors, six writers, and six directors are challenged to come up with six original short plays over the course of 24 hours — which is a VERY short time!
At least they were notified now!
On November 16th, the playwrights will meet at 10 p.m. and MUST finish a 10 minute play by 7 a.m. the next morning.
Then, the actors will rehearse the plays for the next 12 hours and at 8 p.m. on Nov. 17th, the plays will be performed in front of an audience at the American Airlines Theatre!
That is virtually little to no time to create a play! The Sistine Chapel wasn't painted in a day, people!
We have a feeling it'll be a very intense and stressful day, but proceeds from this benefit goes to help the Urban Arts Partnership! It's all for a good cause.
Other stars who have agreed to participate include: Sasha Alexander, Jamie Chung, Billy Crudup, Rachel Dratch, Michael Ealy, Seth Green, Bryan Greenberg, Taran Killam, Zoe Kravitz, Justin Long, Aasif Mandvi, Stephen Merchant, Diane Neal, Jay Pharoah, Sebastian Stan, Julia Stiles, Tracie Thoms, and Michael Kenneth.
It's a star-studded affair! Good luck, everyone!
