7th Heaven Dad Stephen Collins Complains About Money Problems, Says He Can't Find Work After Molestation Confession

Stephen Collins has not been having a good month.

Ever since the audio recording of his confession to ex-wife Faye Grant that he had exposed himself to underage girls and molested at least one became public, things have gotten tough.

Not only have 7th Heaven reruns stopped playing pretty much across the entire TV dial, but he's also (not surprisingly) finding it difficult to find another acting job!

Collins' lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan says the financial hardships are even worse than that. He explains:

"Faye's decision to parade that recording… has resulted in Stephen having no income other than investment income and pension income…

Stephen suffers greatly from the pillaring (sic) by the media surrounding Faye's unlawful recording."

Not able to get your tear ducts welling? We're not surprised.

Funny how no one took into account the suffering of the man who admitted to child molestation.

But it's not really fair to blame whoever leaked the tape, or even recorded it. He's the one that committed the crime!

It is interesting; he's complaining about the same thing that everyone else is– that he can't get arrested in this town.

Am I missing something here? Are we supposed to feel bad for this piece of shit? These types of despicable crimes don't happen once or twice, its pathological. He's a sexual predator and always will be. His lawyer is an even bigger piece of shit for defending him. $$$ talks. I hope he never works again in his life and he loses everything. Thats what he deserves for taking away the innocence of a child and for traumatizing them for life. Too bad he didn't get prosecuted and jailed. He would have been "dealt with accordingly" in the prison system I'm sure.

Typical narcissist, finding blame in everybody but himself and being selfish despite the gravity of situation. Disgusting.

ummmmmmmm, first off, if this guy didn't save any $$$ from the decades he worked, then he's an idiot. Second, he molested kids and he thinks he gets a second chance? Hell no. Perv.

He committed a crime and she knowingly kept quiet as long as it was convenient for her. Both are terrible people.

    And he is surprised because?
Seriously, scale way back down or move to Thailand which has an active underage sex trade and you can live fairly cheaply from what I have read on travel forums.
