Taylor Swift's long-anticipated 1989 has only been out since Monday, but it's already the most talked about new album in ages.

Not only is it receiving critical acclaim, but Tay Tay's fifth studio album is on track to sell over one million copies in its first week, is the No. 1 CD in 88 different countries, and four of its singles are currently Nos. 1, 2, 5, and 9 on iTunes.

Basically, it's the biggest thing to happen to Pop music in, well, ever.

Which is why we were shocked to hear that Taylor's record label was nervous about her new pop angle!

Right!? That's insane!

Taylor stopped by The View to chat about her album's success and made a funny and friendly dig at her label for not trusting in her vision.

Ch-ch-check out Taylor's adorable diss (below)!!!

I adore Taylor. Have loved her since that very first song came on country radio when she was only 16 and have been a huge fan ever since. I am really shocked that her label didn't have confidence in her choice to make a pop record. Taylor could put out a rock album and it would go to #1 for a variety of reasons. The main one is that Taylor's fans are fans of TAYLOR, then her music. Many artists are popular for their music or for a particular song, but their personas are less than likable (think Kanye) or memorable. Secondly, Taylor eats, drinks and bleeds music. I often tell my daughter that when she gets a cut, musical notes probably come out. I think that is one of the reasons that some other artists don't care for her. I believe it aggravates them that it is all so easy for her, because for some, writing is not easy at all. Performing is the easy part, but writing a hit song - not so much. Taylor whips out these songs/hits like crazy while other artists are lucky to have 2 or 3 hit songs off of one album. It must be aggravating.

Ok, I'm a married middle age Mom and I LOVE T-Swift! Admire her talent, personality and fashion. My daughter loves her, and even my boys. Also, so awesome how she donates so much to charity such as NYC public schools. She is changing the world for the better. GO Girl.
