CBS' The Mentalist Is Coming To An End

The Mentalist

After six years of fighting crime in the most irritating way possible, The Mentalist has officially received an end date.

The CBS drama's seventh and final season is going to premiere on Nov. 30th, and finish out its 13-episode season with a two-hour series finale on Feb. 18th.

The series debuted strong and was the No. 1 new series when it started, but ratings dropped to below average levels that did not please America's No. 1 network.

And this wasn't the only TV news today. Lifetime announced that they were canceling Jenna Dewan-Tatum's Witches of East End after two seasons, as well.

We're sorry for any of you out there that were fans of the show, but we have to say we only ever remembered it was still on when its commercials came on during The Good Wife.

Although, it did keep Amanda Righetti employed for six years, so we like that!
