What an AH-Mazing way to close out the EMAs!

In honor of the Global Icon recipient, Ozzy Osbourne, famed guitarist Slash and rockers Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators delivered a FLAWLESS cover of the rock legend's Crazy Train!

The perfect performance had absolutely everything, from impressive guitar solos all the way to fiery explosions!!

How fitting for the Prince of Darkness!

Given Ozzy's contagious smile throughout the tribute, we have a feeling he'll remember this killer performance for a lifetime!

Also, how hilarious is it that Sharon recorded the ENTIRE performance with her cellphone?! Uh, Sharon, we have a feeling MTV would have NO problem giving you a copy of the tribute!

Once again, our hats go off to Slash, Myles Kennedy, & The Conspirators for making Ozzy proud!!

You forgot to include Simon Neil, of Scottish band Biffy Clyro, as part of the tribute.

    Re: Biffy57

Exactly! He is a legend in the UK, and should be considered as such everywhere. Maybe you could amend your post, Perez?

Re: Biffy57 – But lets be honest… he ruined the performance so he isn't really worth a mention. Myles Kennedy did an amazing job, yet the Biffy Clyro guy can barely sing…

OK, now we are cooking with much better coverage!

Ah, very nice tribute with stunning visuals even though my ears are straining for Ozzy and Zakk sound.

Re: meliksah – Thought the exact same thing; and the bottom end punctuation punch wasn't there at the beginning and end of the bars, which is set up dynamically with less wall of sound but more clarity in the body leading to the punches. Still a decent tribute. I liked the imperfection but expression of the other guy's voice. The first guy's voice is a classic rock voice but unlike Ozzy's.

I hate to be the wrench in the gears, but that was anything but flawless. In fact, apart from Slash's guitar playing, which fell a little flat but certainly got the idea across, and the pyrotechnics it was pretty darn crappy. The vocals were absolutely terrible, especially from the guitarist.

I wouldn't say Ozzy was smiling either. In fact, he looked like he thought it was as much of an abomination as I did.

Just wish Slash's guitar was in tune. I blocked my ears halfway through the show

Re: non-plused – I thought Myles did a great job of the vocals. The guy on guitar was simply awful though. I think Slash did a good job but the fact that his guitar went out of tune at the start of the solo seemed to completely throw him off.

Re: Niél – So glad I'm not the only one that picked that up, sounded terrible. Don't think it was Slash though, think it was the hobo dude
