In an interview from 2006, Kimmy mused on her humble beginnings:
"My closet business came about when I was at my godparents' house, Sugar Ray Leonard and his wife Bernadette. Bernadette's closet was massive and had so much stuff in it. I said to her, 'You really need to clean out your closet.' Well, we spent the whole night doing that."
Word of Mrs.West's spectacular organizing skills spread throughout Hollywood, and very quickly, she amassed a long list of clients including Cindy Crawford, Serena Williams, Rob Lowe, Kenny G, Nicole Richie, and of course, Paris.
Though Keeks relationship with Hilton started off as a professional one, it quickly became a very complex and a multi-layered friendship.
Throughout the early 2000's, the public often wondered what Kim exactly was to the socialite. An assistant? A sidekick? Bestie? An accessory?
Mrs.West elaborated on her relationship, errr, job at the time, saying:
"I had to organize and color-coordinate [her closet], and help Paris with my styling advice, what she needs to get rid of, what she needs to fill back in, you know, do personal shopping. With her, it was mostly getting rid of stuff because she's a compulsive shopper. Now, her garage is filled with clothes again. It's overwhelming."
Woah, can you imagine Kim organizing Paris' closet now in 2014?!
What a hysterical and strange mental image!
Well, here's to you Kimmy, for climbing up the ranks of Hollywood's elite one closet at a time!
