Did Jennifer Lawrence Inspire Coldplay's A Sky Full Of Stars? NOPE! And You'll Never Guess Who Actually Did!

chris martin was inspired to write a sky full of stars by katy perry

Now this is an answer we never, EVER expected to hear!

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was discussing who and what may have inspired the band's most recent album and the answer is totally NOT what we expected!

We were waiting to hear some Gwyneth Paltrow mentions or maybe even a Jennifer Lawrence reference or two, but it turns out it was another totally different star!

Katy Perry!

Say WHAAAAAT!! The singer admitted that their song A Sky Full Of Stars was inspired by KatyKat herself!

He said:

"I'll tell you the truth: I was listening to a lot of Katy Perry. A lot of her songs have the same chord sequence the whole time. Your body feels comfortable with them and then the melody's changing on top so there's a groove you really get in to and then also you're kept interested… so I was like, ‘that's an amazing way of doing songs.'"

WHOA! That's insane that she managed to inspire him from afar!

We love it! Maybe they'll do a collaboration in the future?

We can only hope so!

Okay, so does this make that we should give all the credit to Miss Perry?
We should assume she created all the sound trames of the melodies of his songs? Dah! I doubt it..

One has to assume Katy creates herself her own melodies? Yeah right…

of course the chord sequences are catchy… non other than Max Martin produced them. He is like the hit song genius
