In addition, Michael Brown's family attorney Benjamin Crump released a statement on behalf of Michael's family:

"We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions.

While we understand many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.

Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer in this country wears a body camera.

We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction.

Let's just not make noise, let's make a difference."

While the death of any young adult is tragic, I only would ask that if a white man did the same actions in Compton and had the same result would we all be as upset, or an Oriental in China Town doing the same act. Death isn't fair but you can't change that outcome, you can only change the way you act and your future results. The actions of those who are burning their own city and torching stores is the result of our failure to educate everyone to the same standard. The President steps in because of his consistent failures, yet he has no impact once again. Its really a shame, so many lives ruined in support of a sad situation.
