Well, this is… interesting.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Anna Cardwell aka Chikadee has found a new job to make up for the cancellation of her fam's hit TLC show — and the gig is NOT what you might expect.

The 20-year-old is now the spokesperson for the company, Young Living Essential Oils, which hawks products on the basis of unsubstantiated claims concerning ebola and even cancer.

According to the corporation's website, one of the available oils can PREVENT ebola, claiming:

"The Ebola virus cannot survive in the presence of a therapeutic grade Cinnamon Bark and Oregano essential oil."

Umm, we think the FDA and every reputable health professional would argue that crazy and DANGEROUS assertion!

While it's unclear if Cardwell ACTUALLY believes in the products she's selling, what IS apparent is the former reality star's desperate need for money.

Over the weekend, Anna set up a GoFundMe page for 20K, which she has since shut down after fans called her out for being greedy.

Well, at least Chikadee has a paying job!

Leave this girl alone. She has experienced horrible horrible things and is forced to relive them frequently. Please let her find her way with peace. Do not make fun of her but let her be.

Though those specific statements are not necessarily true I would never trust anyone who says, "FDA and every reputable health professional would argue that crazy and DANGEROUS assertion"

Yes, our 'reputable' health professionals run one of the worst healthcare systems in the world and we pay the most for it. Of course they aren't going to validate claims like this at the risk of losing their industry. Most other nations have these oils next to pharmaceuticals and SHOCKING - they all have way better health scores then the US.

The FDA does not do studies on herbs or essential oils, that doesn't mean they are useless. Look at all the regulated drugs that are killing people….seriously, look up how many die each year from pain killers. That is NOT going to happen with essential oils…

I completely agree with Lala's above comment! I love you Perez, but please have your people do some research before slandering something that you are not knowledgeable about. If you want to see scientific research on essential oils, you can check out aromaticscience.com, which is a site with proven scientific research and digs into how essential oils works with our biology. Young Living and doTerra are such scams and have been in trouble by the FDA before. There are no such things as therapeutic grade oils. It's a marketing scam.

Re: Priscilla – Facts ? Science ? Flat Earth society anyone ? NO real peer-reviewed resarch has ever proven that these substances cure anything. Grow up. Reatd a book.
