Have You Ever Seen An Owl Do The Breast Stroke? You're About To!

Birds are masters of the sky, there's no denying that.

The fact that they also have legs and can walk makes them pretty competent on land too!

But what if birds mastered swimming? They'd be the ultimate all-terrain creatures!!

Well one great horned owl proved that holy heck we're all about to be taken over by owls. Because this owl was spotted doing the breast stroke.

The video was taken at Loyola Park Beach in Rogers Park, Chicago. The owl was apparently escaping an attack from two Peregrine Falcons.

That's one seriously smart bird!

Check out the video (below) to see the first step in the owl takeover of humanity.

This isn't "cute". The owl probably wasnt able to take flight so he likely drowned. It's so irritating when people mistake animal's actions as entirely different from what they are. ALL animals are reacting with instinct and not actually doing the cute thing you think they are.

Re: Brooke – Gosh I sure hope the owl did not drown but you raise a good point, thanks.

Re: Brooke – If you read the article from an actual news source you would have seen that rescuers were called, but the owl flew away. The owl was being clever…try to get your news somewhere else.
