The Flash is running so fast, it's going back in time!
The CW super hit isn't just bringing back '90s Flash star John Wesley Shipp (as new Flash Grant Gustin's father); they're also bringing back the classic's best villain:
Mark freakin' Hamill!

The Star Wars star — who later gave voice to Batman villain Joker in dozens of cartoons and video games — played Flash villain James Jesse, AKA The Trickster, in two episodes of the short-lived CBS show.
His cartoonish performance (below) made him far and away the most memorable guest star. And now he's bringing another tour de force in a brand new incarnation of the character!
How will Mark's Trickster be different this time?
According to The CW, James Jesse will be an imprisoned anarchist who gives Hannibal Lecter-style help to Barry in catching a copycat Trickster, presumably based on the second generation villain from the DC comics.
Between this and The Force awakening, Mark is really having a comeback.
Or is that Captain Boomerang's gimmick? LOLz!
