Here's what the charges were according to a detective's affidavit:
"'He said Tim would sleep in the same bed as him at his house' and perform a sex act on the child. 'He said sometimes Tim would wake him up from sleeping to (perform a sex act).'"
Although Poole claimed he was innocent, he plead guilty and got a reduced sentence of 13 months, which he had already served, for attempted sexual battery. That didn't hold for long, though, because after not showing up to some mandated group sessions in 2003, a judge revoked his probation and Poole was sent to prison for three years.
And while some may balk at the fact that Poole will be getting a lump sum payment of $2,219,807.90 — at least one friend named Floyd Snyder believes Poole, who drives a taxi cab, deserves a break. Snyder said:
"I've known him for years and I've never seen any inclination of anything like that with him. He's a very positive person. Very kind. Giving. I think that's why he won. It's Christmastime and the dude deserves a break."
At least it proves that anyone can win the lottery — right?
Hasan Minhaj hosted the, well, weird night, and he delivered some jokes -- and that included a good handful of ones about Trump even though he didn't want to be involved. He touched on Russia, Trump's NUMEROUS problems with the press, and all the issues facing minorities and basically everyone Trump is attacking.
The comedian also took some time to roast the Trump kids who have foolishly supported their dad just because he's that, their dad.
But our fave part had to be Minhaj calling out Trump as a liar because that is straight up what he is! It's not even a joke!
So unless you are Trump himself, watch and enjoy the roasting (above)!
