He'll be a true leader when he speaks out for all races that have died at the hands of a small fringe of police who weild their responsibility poorly. Many who have died unjustly are white along other races. A majority of officers show discernment. It's those uniformed misfits who must be weeded out, because they endanger the good officers…and the good officers know who they are.

Re: joinSD – I agree that police brutality in general is a huge problem and will no doubt benefit from the much-needed legislation these protests are seeking. But the issue is that, when it happens to BLACK people, it goes unpunished. The families of white victims almost always receive justice. Swiftly. That is why this movement is happening. As a white person, I stand in solidarity with this movement. Evil prevails when good people do nothing.

Re: Caimile – Not so. Look up wiki Death of Kelly Thomas. The increase in police brutality in this country is a frightening reality. In the last decade alone the number of people murdered by police has reached 5,000. The number of soldiers killed since the inception of the Iraq war, 4489. ~The Free Thought Project. These statistics only include up to December 12, 2013 so a whole year hasn't been added. They are NOT all blacks. White deaths are NOT 'all punished.' I do stand behind all humans who are mistreated regardless of race, religion or color. There is more power in numbers.
