The buck stops here -- at least as far as going beyond a divorce is concerned.

This is so sad.
Sunrise anchor Natalie Barr broke down on air while reporting on the hostage siege in Sydney after discovering she knew one of the two victims. The gunman was also killed. Natalie broke down while relaying the identities of those who lost their lives:
"Katrina Dawson was the sister of a prominent barrister [lawyer] Sandy Dawson who has done some work for Channel Seven. I know (him) and have friends who know, she was a mother of three children. I'm just finding this out this morning."
Barr remained shaken for the rest of the report.
Katrina Dawson, 38, was a prominent lawyer like her brother and taught students via mock trials. She reportedly shielded a pregnant friend during the siege and died of a heart attack on the way to the hospital. Her family released this statement:
"We are shocked and devastated by the tragic and senseless death of our darling Katrina. She was an amazing woman and the most loving and loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, in-law and blessed with a wonderful circle of friends and colleagues. We would like to thank everyone who has provided their support and wishes over the past 48 hours and ask that we be allowed to support each other in private."
The other victim was Lindt Chocolat Cafe manager Tori Johnson, 34. Johnson wrestled with the gunman while the other hostages attempted to escape, but was fatally wounded.
Johnson's family and his partner, Thomas Zinn, released the following statement:
"We are so proud of our beautiful boy Tori, gone from this earth but forever in our memories as the most amazing life partner, son and brother we could ever wish for."
Our hearts go out to the families and friends of all the victims.
