I think the show stinks…i watched it once and that man is a real pig…and his wife is just a baby machine…do if the show was canceled he would have to get a real job and support all his kids…

Stop pushing your gay agenda on people who have opinions that differ from yours.

Every one has the right to their opinion, if you do not like what they believe or their values that's o.k. don't watch the show.

Re: Jaime Diaz – Except he does have a real job. He teaches his kids good values by having them work hard with him early on. He has multitudes of houses that he buys, fixes up himself, and rents out. On top of all of that, he's frequently seen on construction and carpentry sites.

I'm not a fan of the show, but at least I'm not ignorant of their lifestyle.

That is the problem with today. Everybody wants to get offended by every little thing. They want to tear down instead of lift up. If you don't like the show, change the channel. I am sure that Jim Bob does not like Bravo network but you do not see him wanting to have the entire station pulled off the air. Stop getting offended by every little thing. If you don't like the show, don't watch the show, it is as easy as that.

This family is on tlc not the bible channel. I don't see the network keeping them on because of all the negativity. I accept other people's views but the learning channel is not the place for this.

I think the point of shows like theirs is to document a subculture of people who live dramatically different than the rest of society. I find it interesting, and I do like the values they seem to teach their children. I disagree with those who don't believe the show is appropriate for TLC. If they have views you don't believe in, do not watch the show. I can assure you there are other shows out there, reality or not, that have members with beliefs that do not coincide with the LBGT agenda. To single out one show in my opinion is ridiculous, especially based on the current claims.

i think it's pathetic that this so called christian couple used media to express their hatred towards the GLBTQ community. Yes, this is America and we all have a right to say what we want; but in that lies a fine line between expressing one's opinion, and public verbal slurs about a particular group (this can be considered hate speech which is against the law)

So the Duggars have like 19, 20 kids…something like that…what if one of them announced that they were gay? Would their parents hate them? Would this child be shunned? Some people have come out as identifying themselves as gay even if they were raised by God-fearing christians…so with that being said, it's likely that one of the Duggar children can also be gay or come out as gay.

I think it's actually disgusting that the Duggar mom is still weeping kids from her womb when her own children are spawning. Like come on, ur a grandma for heavens sake and ur still popping babies? Time to give the limelight to ur own children and grandchildren…

Money talks. As much as I want the show the be canceled and them to just move out of the country, TLC is probably getting more view and money out of all this "scandal"
Look what happened to the guys from the Duck Dinasty. The guy is still there and the show is still there and its merchandise is everywhere….
    money talks.

Re: Robin Gage – The Duggars pushed THEIR agenda to deprive people of their constitutional rights or haven't you dug that deep? But when someone does the same to them, they whine and people like you (without a brain that is) buy into it. If you weren't a drone, and you actually looked into what these people did, you'd realize it. However, you'd prefer to blah, blah, blah gay agenda, blah, blah, blah….. Faux News is waiting for you.

I enjoy the show even though I don't approve of many things that they do. I do think it should be canceled because they are against a basic way of life for many and they voice it. People that are gay are born that way and heaven forbid one of their children turn out to be gay and have to stay in the closet because of their narrow minded views. I also think they exploit their children by having cameras around their entire lives. It is all about the money with Jim Bob and control. Cancel the show and get a fun family that loves all people. I will never watch them again.

Oh shut up Jim Bob! The Little People more popular than YOU!… I'm betting a few years down the road all the kids come forward claiming they were sexually molested.

    18

You don't see gay people on Bravo saying straight people shouldn't have rights. I think people feel duped by the way this family acts on tv and it's not the same when the cameras are off. I know they used to show the older son working at the car lot but once he got the new job never heard anything about where he was working.

    Re: Robin Gage
There is no gay agenda…LGBT people just want equal rights under the law. People can have anti-gay opinions all they want; that doesn't give them the right to limit their rights as citizens of the United States!

What hat do they promote on their show??? Not once in any season have they spoken hatred towards any person…People are entitled to believe what they choose…And most of you gave no clue what the bill was that they were robo calling about…How many of you would want a transgender male being able to use a bathroom with your young daughters??? I support the LGBT community but I dang sure would have been on their side on this particular issue!!!

The gay community wanted our acceptance and tolerance but can't do the same for religious shows? If it singes you too much to see religious stuff, you're on the wrong track. Yeah, and I'm no more a homophobic than you are a theophobic - so stop calling people that don't like the gay lifestyle names. The queers tried to take down Duck Dynasty with their deep religious beliefs and now they're aiming at the Duggars - shame on the satanic lot of you. Go back in your closets if this is the way you're going to be.

I seriously don't think people HATE you guys, they are just tired of the show….I don't think you should have used the word hate…..

  27. debby says – reply to this

    27

The Duggars are using the gay community? What a laugh. This would be a nonissue if this petitition never came about - duh. You cannot believe in God and be gay or a huge sinner at the same time. It doesn't work that way. The Duggars are not sinning, but gays are in going against God's will. Just because you'd rather worship satan in your gay community, does not give you the right to take down Christians. Look up the word theophobe - fear of God and his teachings. Go back to church and ask for forgiveness for pushing your gay garbage on everyone.

Re: Joanne Rusow – The thing of it is, straight God-loving people aren't sinning but the gay community is. The majority of people believe in God - so you will never win much acceptance with stunts like this.

Cancel it. He is not portraying Christians in a fair light, by being judgmental, racist and anti-gay…among other things. Everyone has their own opinion. There, I stated mine. My impression is the female relatives all seem subservient to the "men of the house". Thanks for setting the women's movement back 100 years. Now go wash his dishes, iron his clothes, and be sure to run him a hot bath tonight. He MUST be simply exhausted!! And he'll be expecting you in that baby doll nightgown. ;)

any religion or tradition should not be causing people to inflict any form of hatred on any community. We need to make progress on being more open minded as future generations will carry all sorts of people as ours has now. as far as the show, they aren't jamming Christianity down the audiences throats, so its acceptable. But, outside of that its a different story…. people are entitled to their own stupid opinions as the rest of the comments suggest.

This article failed to mention that a counter petition to support the Duggars, was started in response to the Nazi-gays attack. This article failed to mention the gay driven petition received media support, to drive their signatures campaign. This article failed to mention the counter petition DID NOT receive any media attention to drive signatures. Despite the gay agenda having media support, their petition proved worthless, as the counter petition fostered many more signatures, without media support and in shorter time!
I never watched the show, but I signed the counter petition in active support for freedom of speech, freedom of opinion and the satisfaction of putting those Nazi-gays in their place! You do not have to like the Duggars, but you sure the hell don't have the right to silence them! Nazi-gays are such massive Hippocrates!
