Madonna Responds To Her Album Leak — By Saying Thank You??! (UPDATE: She's Getting Angrier!)

As we reported earlier, Madonna got some bad news on Wednesday when her full album leaked online months early.

After Madge smashed her iPod in response to earlier leaks, we feared how she might react to this news.

But Her Madgesty responded with grace and gratitude.

Rather than lashing out at those who leaked the material or those who downloaded it, the Iconic singer took to Instagram with a special message for her true fans!

She wrote:

"Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty! Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world"

We know! Resisting the urge to listen to new Madonna is killing us!

But it's like waiting for pie to cool: you have to wait until it's ready or else you can seriously sear your taste buds!

We'll just have to wait for Madonna to drop her Iconic next album when she's good and ready!

UPDATE: Uh oh! Madonna is getting mad now!

After initially thanking fans for not listening to the leaked tracks, she decided to post ANOTHER update to her Instagram.

Except this time she's letting everyone know she is straight up PISSED about it!

She said:

"This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?"

WHOA. Madonna is NOT happy.

Though, we do have to say, using terms like terrorism and artistic rape may not be the best way to describe this leak, but still.

Will you wait to listen to the leaked tracks or not?

Of course her fans will listen to it. They'll just pretend they didn't and act all sanctimonious all over the internet about it.

Sure she's grateful. Better to have it leak instead of putting it out and nobody buys it.

Lol @ "artistic process." If it weren't for her comments dripping of pretense, I might actually believe it was an actual leak. Nice use of the word "rape," though.

Someone please remind Madonna that her music is no longer relevant anymore.

No one is going to listen to the leaked tracks because no one listens to Madonna anymore.

She needs to take her skeletor hands and just ride off into the sunset

She's so desperate. Still relying on "controversy" to sell albums. It's so transparent. No one else is having their albums leak MONTHS before it's been announced to be released, so why can't she guard her music more carefully? Oh, because it's all part of her marketing strategy.

Re: Antony – I think the full effect you'll experience is extreme disappointment.

Terrorism? Rape? No, it would be terroristic and an act of rape if people were forced to listen to your glorified bubblegum crap.

Let's put some things into perspective. Beyonce made an album of 17 songs AND 17 videos, and no one knew about it until the day she dropped it. Taylor Swift released the BIGGEST album of the year and it wasn't leaked until 2 days before it was released, and that was because someone at Target got a hold of it, as opposed to an inside job. So why can't Madonna keep her music under wraps? Please don't say it's because she works with a lot of people. Taylor and Beyonce work with a lot of people too. She's managed to keep a lot of things about her private life extremely private. People in her inner circle sign confidentiality agreements. If Madonna wants people to hear her new music, why not just release it on her own terms. Maybe she's worried about competing with the newer generation of female singers. It's not as easy to get rid of Swift as she did Gaga. But I don't believe for one minute that this was an accidental leak. Even the canned response from her manager is phony.

Maybe she should go back to analog recordings since she's so irresponsible with her music. Her music was better back then anyway.
