Movie Theaters Refuse To Show The Interview Following Terrorism Threats From Sony Hackers

This is terrible.

Not only was the New York premiere of The Interview canceled following the terrorist threat made by the Sony hackers, but now other theaters are pulling out as well.

The Carmike Theater chain, which operates 278 theaters in 41 states, is the first to cancel all showings of the film.

How awful. We are just torn up at the fact that these hackers have made such an impact.

We obviously want everyone to stay safe, but we just can't accept that giving in to the demands of terrorists makes us more secure.

If they get what they want, doesn't this set a dangerous precedent for others to make threats in the future?

We don't know the answer here, but we're just so sad that there are people in this world who would make these kinds of threats.

Send it straight to iTunes, Amazon and for digital purchase. I will buy it on Christmas.

Perhaps the preshow ticket sales sucked worse than the movie.

A movie like this should've never been made to begin with. I understand it's all fun and games, but how would we like it if another country made a movie joking about killing our president?

Re: Avery – I am with Avery on this one. What the hell did they think would happen if they made a movie about killing an actual living ruler of a country? North Korea is an awful country, but the people who are loyal to it or even sympathize with them are not going to back down. They should have known this movie would backfire on them, but they underestimated N. Korea and look what happened.

I had to wait so long before this proud kid, his finger on the missile launch button and ready to use it.

    Signed, your invisible enemy.
