Kaley Cuoco May Be One Of The Highest Paid Females On TV, But She's NOT A Feminist & Proud Of It!

Kaley Cuoco seems to be confused about the definition of feminism.

In a recent interview for Redbook, the Big Bang Theory star opens up about her personal ideals, and they're rather contradictory!

As one of the highest-paid female actors on television, the 29-year-old certainly benefits from the progress feminists have made in the past.

Yet, when asked if she considers herself to be a feminist, she responded:

"Is it bad if I say no? It's not really something I think about. Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around… I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality.

I cook for Ryan five nights a week: It makes me feel like a housewife; I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I'm so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him. My mom was like that, so I think it kind of rubbed off."

Gurl.

"Old-fashioned" would be men taking care of their women, not women taking care of their men!

And while we understand she was saying this in more of a household context, we're fairly certain that Kaley, not her tennis player husband Ryan Sweeting, is paying the couple's bills.

Her net worth is $30 million, while Ryan's is a meager $2 million in comparison, after all!

Additionally, when Kaley says, "I'm so in control of my work", we hope she realizes that her ability to truthfully utter that phrase wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for certain feminist movements. Besides, you don't have to be an activist to be a feminist!

But moving on.

With all those recent nose job rumors floating about, Kaley also tackled the topic of plastic surgery!

She addressed her breast implants, saying:

"I had no boobs! And it really was the best thing ever! I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn't about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy."

Confidence is seXXXy, so we're sure she gained that by default anyway!

Do YOU agree with the actress' feelings on feminism and body confidence???

Let us know in the comments (below)!

Start working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life.

    This is what I do,,,,,,

I like her point of view. Doing it how she wants.

  3. 3

Just because you like to be domestic doesn't mean you can't be a feminist. If you think women should have equal rights, then you are a feminist. SImple.

  4. 4

The religious right has done a fine job of making 'feminism' a dirty word. It's a shame that younger women take for granted the very hard earned rights that they enjoy today. But by shunning feminism, they are helping to ensure that women's equality is never fully realized.

Who is this idiot? The fact that you have the right to choose what to do with your life is a testament to the battles of feminists past and present. Maybe you should read a book or two or invest in an education, but celebrity and boob jobs are where it's at in the good ol' U S of A. Moron.

She does exactly what feminist have been crying for. She CHOOSES to work at a job she enjoys and is well paid for it. She CHOOSES to be domestic in her home. She CHOOSES to control her body.

You're welcome. (I was asked by a dean if I had my new husband's "permission to go to graduate school." X 100.)

Re: rosebud99 – Stop enforcing the feminist title on people. I support womens rights and I'm proud not to be associated with the toxicity that feminism has become.

Seriously, you feminists preach consent - practise what you preach and stop branding women feminists without their consent.

Re: Alittledashofwisdom – I apologize. I was not trying to force the word on people, my point was that by definition, feminism simply means equality. And if a person believes in that, then they could be considered a feminist. Too bad the word has been so maligned.

Re: rosebud99 – Amen to the definition of equality being what being a feminist is all about. If it were not for the feminists like Gloria Steinham, Ms. Cuoco wouldn't be making the same as her two male co-stars. PERIOD! Perhaps she should pick up a history book.

Can you get over yourself? Let her do her thing. She said nothing offensive. Why don't you focus on something important for once?

I find it that when a girl is treated well by and finds the right guy, she has no problem saying she is NOT a feminist.

She is just playing another role she enjoys. Don't get confused. She's worth 30 mil - she can do whatever the hell she wants, she's not a "submissive housewife" she's just playing one in real life, and she can afford to do it. When she gets tired of it she can put all his stuff in a box to the left. It's the poverty stricken women with no options we need to be worrying about. Kelly Coco can (and is) taking care of herself

Maybe they should pay 70% of the salary her male co-stars are paid. Then maybe she will understand why women before her fought so hard to get this far. She might think she knows what feminism is. Stupid people should not talk about what they know nothing about.

I feel like, unless you truly just hate women or are stuck in primitive times, anybody who says they are not a feminist does not understand the word. It's not a scary word.

Message to all feminists: stop fornicating with machos & Alpha males!!
    You idiots…
If so, maybe your males progeny will better treat their female counterparts! - Period

    "stupid" "idiot" "moron"

Doesn't take long for feminists to turn against women does it?

Oh and by the way saying a woman "should not talk" sounds like something a misogynist would support? What, she only deserves equality if she marches in lockstep with your opinion? Who voted you boss vagina?

  24. SoftNFluffy says – reply to this

    24

Feminism isn't about equal rights which predates it. Feminism is saying that men and women are equal in all respects. Margaret Thatcher, for instance, didn't consider herself a feminist and said it was poison (her own words).

If a person enjoys cooking then do it. The recipient needs to kick in to the realtionship in other and equal ways or it can or will lead to resentment later.

  26. 26

Oh girl.. Thats the whole point of feminism. To have the choice to do what you want, be who you want, live as you want. You want to go home and take care of your man? DO IT! Thats awesome! Feel like marriage isnt for you and you have more non-traditional priorities? GREAT! thats the point!!!! You are a strong and successful women! Don't say your not a feminist - that just makes you seem silly and you lose the respect of women like me who liked you. I feel all female celebrities (and all women in general) should at least google the definition before claiming not to be feminist.
FEMINISM IS NOT A DIRTY WORD! AND BEING A FEMINISM DOESN'T MAKE YOU NON-FEMININE OR A BAD WIFE.
