Today's the day.
The last day of 2014, that is!
With New Year's Eve festivities happening at midnight tonight, you only have a few hours to figure out how to celebrate.
5. Get rid of bad spirits!
If you're from the Philippines or from Chile, then you know it's important to get rid of them ghosts when the clock strikes midnight. In the Philippines, you can turn off all your lights and then open and close all of your cabinets, while in Chile it's as easy as wearing white!
4. Wear colorful underwear!
People from Venezuela and Argentina wear yellow and pink underwear, respectively, to bring good luck for the new year!
3. Do whatever you can to get good luck!
In El Salvador, it's a tradition to leave a cracked egg out overnight and then to embrace whatever shape you see in the morning as your fate for the coming year. But if you think that's a little strange, people in Finland get their luck from pouring metal into cold water.
2. Throw whatever you can get your hands on!
People in Puerto Rico throw buckets of water out of their front doors at midnight, while people in Guatemala rely on pennies to start the year off right!
1. Watch Taylor Swift, of course!
So this one isn't totally unique, but we guarantee Tay-Tay is gonna put on a great show!
Make sure to catch her with Ryan Seacrest on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve tonight!
But whatever you end up doing to celebrate the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015…
