Bill Cosby's TV Wife Phylicia Rashad Breaks Her Silence! She's Defending The Comedian, Saying All The Assault Allegations Were 'Orchestrated' To Ruin His Career!

If there's anyone who knows Bill Cosby better than his actual wife, it's his on-screen partner of eight years…

And she doesn't think any of the sexual assault claims are true!

Phylicia Rashad is actually defending her former co-star, going as far as to say someone is determined to keep Bill off TV forever!

The comedian has been accused of sexual assault by over two dozen women and the actress is dismissing all of their claims.

She said of the ladies who've come out so far:

"Forget these women. What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that is so important to the culture."

That's a pretty big claim — to say this whole scandal is being orchestrated!

The 66-year-old actress went on to say:

"Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV. And it's worked. All his contracts have been canceled."

However, what she's saying IS pretty coincidental!

Bill was planning on making a big return to TV by starring on a sitcom on NBC. This information was revealed at the beginning of last year and it hasn't really gone anywhere since then!

What do YOU think? Is this whole thing orchestrated to keep Bill off TV or is the timing of the situation just coincidental?

Sound off in the comments (below)!

Following Phylicia's upsetting "forget those women" comment, two of the ladies who have come out and accused Bill of sexually assaulting are naturally upset.

Sarita Butterfield, a former Playboy Bunny and one of the women who claims the actor touched her, said:

"What if something like this happened to her daughter? Shame on her and shame on Bill."

While another accuser, Angela Leslie, said:

"I looked at her as a woman with morals, and it's sad that she's speaking like this."

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the matter, but Phylicia's dismissive comment about the women in question was bound to receive backlash.

The actress' conspiracy theory was dismissed by Angela. She points out that all the accusers are strangers to each other and come from all over the country.

'Forget these women'. What a horrible thing to say. Is his legacy really more important than these women? I wonder if she feels the same way about Michael Jackson - forget those kids. Maybe she truly believes that if someone is really talented they should be given a pass for criminal behaviour. And just because it didn't happen to her doesn't mean it didn't happen to others.

There are too many women with the same allegations so she knows this has to be true about him. Of course, she also wants her reruns of the Cosby show to keep running for life. Probably thats the real reason she is on his side. Its always about money for these people, forget the ruined lives this monster has caused.

If it had just been Janice Dickinson, I might have called bull crap. It's just too many women all saying basically the same thing. Unless someone or some group has very deep pockets and can pay all these women to implicate Bill Cosby, then I think this must be true. I hate it, because it is such a departure from what I thought was his character.

Well, she's convincing. Not so much. Big ego, big mouth.

But who was the orchestrator? Cosby himself, or dozens of others?

Rashad speaks from a position of self-interested arrogance. Perhaps if most of the claimants were black she would not be so quick to flippantly dismiss their truth.

'It's the legacy.' So she's actually saying accusing of drugging and raping is racist?
What stands out here is his lack of denial. If there's fear of hard evidence out there somewhere, being allegedly worried about being branded a liar more than of the horrific allegations is quite disturbing.

No one tells a victim let alone 20/plus this. Either she is under Hollywood peer pressure or she was bought out- or she is drugged as we speak!
