When you've got billions of dollars, life must seem almost boring at times.

What does the man who can afford to do anything do in his spare time?

He drinks poop water!

You heard us, Bill Gates drank a glass of water that was basically boiled out of poop.

The water came from the Omniprocessor, which is described as:

"An ingenious machine designed and built by Janicki Bioenergy, which turns human waste into water and electricity. In places without good waste treatment plants, it could be a real game-changer."

You input sewer sludge (POOP!) and the machine boils the sludge. The solids become dry and get burned in a hot fire, which heats water into steam, which runs a steam engine that creates electricity. Pretty amazing!

Then the water itself is filtered and purified and comes out of the machine as drinkable water!

Water that was literally just sucked out of poop.

Check out the video (below) to see a billionaire drink sh*t water — and hey, if people can get past the idea of it, it could be super helpful for the world!

Not a very convincing sip. Did he go to mime school?

Many sewage treatment plants output water that is cleaner than the body of water it is released into, and yes - safe to drink. When you think about it - all water has been recycled at some point or another.
