Starbucks Adds A Delicious New Drink! And It's An Espresso!

We can't wait to try this!

Starbucks has a dizzying array of drinks on hand already, but the mega coffee chain will be adding another delicious drinks to its already stacked roster!

And it's an espresso!

The new espresso is called the Flat White, and it's made with two ristretto espresso shots, topped off with some "microfoam," and is finished with some "latte art dot" toppings!

And even though we're not sure what that all means — we don't have a degree in being basic — what we are sure of is that it'll probably taste good.

The new drink, which was previously only available in the UK and Australia, will be ready for all to order in all American locations starting January 6th… which basically means it should be already going down at a local Starbucks near you!

Order us one too while you're there!

This "previously unavailable drink" is the closest thing that you can find to an actual latte, at any "actual cafe" where someone doesn't press a button to extract espresso. Did starbucks endorse this post?

Yay. It's about time! After travelling to the States regular for over 10 years now, finally, we can get a decent coffee there!

The flat white has been in NEW ZEALAND and Australia since the 80s. Delish! And no, there's never been anything like it in the US; a latte doesn't even come close.

Is it very strong? Don't like strong tasting coffee, prefer a medium to mild blend. i'll give it a try the next time I'm at a Starbucks.
