Horrible criminals who do violent acts get out early so why shouldn't she.

  2. Heather says – reply to this

She needs to be home with her girls!

It's absolutely fair. It isn't like she killed someone. She should be getting out even earlier with time off for good behavior.

I wouldn't exactly say thats getting out of jail free thats 13 months rather then 15 WOW now if you say Feb. 5, 2015 that would be a different story and like others said people have gotten out of jail alot sooner for a lot worse!!!!

Re: Sam – I would have to agree with that!!

  7. Jessica says – reply to this

Its only 2 months early not that big of a deal. At least she's paying for her crime and will be in there for 13 months unlike over celebrities who do a crime and get jail time but only last hours or days.

I'm happy that she has the opportunity to get out a little earlier. They should have had Joe serve her time as well as his own. He put them in this situation and now those little girls are suffering being away from their mother. I do feel for Teresa and am happy to hear she can be released a little earlier.

  9. Cindy says – reply to this

Hmm..in just a couple of days and already reduced. Let's see…in another week we will hear it's been reduced to 6 months. Unbelievable…she will emerge a rich woman, all the crime behind her. Wow..some price to pay for stealing all of the tax payers money. No suffering…who ever said crime doesn't pay.

  10. silvia says – reply to this

of course i am happy for her her girls need her..

  11. -CHris. says – reply to this

She should have to do 3 months, and her husband should have to do 20 years.

  12. Joe green says – reply to this

Not special treatmen . Fed inmates can earn 54 days per year spent. Martha served while term

  13. D says – reply to this

    Re: Heather

No she needs to be in prison where she is. Of you do the crime…..

  14. Renee says – reply to this

Imagine this…you go to the mall with a thousand dollars in your pocket, money you saved for an annual shopping trip. Money you earned and saved for a whole year. You run into Teresa and when you're not paying attention she helps herself to all of your money…feel good?

  15. Tarra says – reply to this

It's normal and common to be released early. As her lawyer stated most don't do there whole sentence but more like 85%. This is just a stupid article trying to make it look like she's getting special treatment when in reality her release date is perfectly normal for any inmate with this type of offense.

  16. Renee says – reply to this

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!

  17. Nikki says – reply to this

Everyone only serves 3/4 of their sentence as long U don't get in trouble while in there! Has nothing to do with her

  18. Stephen Moscatello says – reply to this

the statements ridiculous, everyone gets time off . From jail shed most likely go to a halfway house . So don't make it sound like she's getting anything any one else doesn't get . Furthermore if she wasn't Itailian and on TV this wouldn't have happened to begin with . Let's start with the crooked politicians and judges

  19. maria says – reply to this

  20. dom says – reply to this

If anyone knows anything about the federal system you do 85 percent of you time.

  21. Tricia says – reply to this

Absurd!! Any other person who wasn't a celebrity would do the entire time plus more than she originally received!

  22. Tanner says – reply to this

The article makes it sound as if she is getting preferential treatment. She is not. Whether it be county/state/federal prison inmates are given "Good Time". There is a specific formula to calculate exactly how much time that will be. She isn't being treated any different than any prisoner.

  23. Ashley says – reply to this

I think it's fair. She's doing the time. Plus, those children need their mom.

  24. Tanner says – reply to this

Re: dom – Thanks Dan. Everyone goes to local, state, federal prisons get time off. In some jurisdictions they can lose a portion of those days as discipline when they violate the rules.

  25. Belinda says – reply to this

It's called good time and everyone who doesn't get in trouble while incarcerated gets it. She's not getting special treatment.

  26. Mrs. AD says – reply to this

I will always like Teresa and wish her well!

  27. Julie says – reply to this

Why not! Even murders, with a life sentence, before they're dead!!

  28. Lisa says – reply to this

that only means, that anyone can falsify documents and most likely get away with it.
why didn't this happen to Apollo from RHOA?
they're lucky to even had separate jail times b/c of their children.
did they think about their children when they did the crime?

  29. Julie says – reply to this

Re: Cindy – She stole our money? How did she do that? I've still got mine!

  30. Michael says – reply to this

yes! Get her out. She doesn't even deserve to be there!

  31. Lisa says – reply to this

    I seriously think just b/c she's a celebrity and is she's white.
If she was black, would she geting the same treatment? Early release?

Celebrities should suffer the same consequences as any normal non celebrity status people.

  32. april99 says – reply to this

It pays to be a celebrity………….she's not the first one who has skated on jail time.

  33. 33

    Someone shank that bitch.

  34. 34

    Give her the needle.

  35. Adrastos says – reply to this

who give a crap about here. ahe is a criminal and shouldnt be allowed to leave early.
serve the full sentence you criminal, and bravo needs to fire her.
theresa and joe guidice are nothing more than common criminals

  36. Adrastos says – reply to this

Re: TexasDey – she should have thought about that a long time ago, moron. sucks for her girls, mommy and daddy are criminals

  37. MichJB says – reply to this

It would be fairer if they would let people throw peanuts at her monkey face like at the zoo.

  38. Cassandra says – reply to this

Re: D – and what exactly do you feel the time is for her crime? And how much do you actually know about what she did? You should mind your own business. And everyone makes mistakes. Who are you to judge? I respect her more for taking care of business than you for judging someone you don't know online.

  39. sara says – reply to this

She shouldn't even be in jail in the first place. Most people don't get time on a first offence, she already payed that nearly 300k, it's clear that people just don't like her because she doesn't react to things the way people want her to.

  40. Golfcar48 says – reply to this

She did the crime so she should do the full time. Rewarding bad behaviour is not the way for the judicial system to go! Her and Joe are lousy role models for their children.

  41. Robin says – reply to this

Any sentence over 1year and 1day in a federal prision gets time off for early release…everyone gets it not just celebrities

  42. Yvette Gonzalez-Valdes says – reply to this

The federal system is designed that you serve approximately 87% of your sentence. You earn good time for good behavior and following the rules she is not getting a free get out of jail card she is simply given that take upon intake, but things could change and from there she will be released to a half way house for transitioning purposes. Really do your homework before you post, it is the same for everyone and instead of making such a big deal about her getting out date, think about the family and what her children are going through.

  43. Chantay says – reply to this

Let that be a black person they would serve all that damn time!! Telling you not surprised!!! Lying theives!!!

  44. Maybe says – reply to this

I think it's good time. All fed prisoners with more than a year aentence get good time credit

  45. MMM says – reply to this

No she should do the whole sting! M if she wanted to be with her kids she shouldn't commit a crime!! Those morons that say she should be release need to realize that if it was them or me they would have make us do the whole sentence because we are not TV personalities!!!

  46. A1 says – reply to this

    Re: Cindy
I agree with Cindy,The kids r seeing what happens when you are convicted of fraud. For someone to think they should get excused for crime because they are to important to go to jail is Narcissism - The judge found her guilty and there are many people paying for what she and her husband did. They dont feel like she should get off because she has kids.

  47. Connie Rae says – reply to this

she should have gotten the same sentence as Joe….she makes me sick…ugh

  48. Derek says – reply to this

To be rational, this is how the federal court system works. It wasn't that she had special treatment. She is serving 85% of her sentence, which is the norm for federal prison.

  49. frenchie says – reply to this

I think she should be with her and her husband is the snake in the grass and he set her up!

  50. Wotan_01 says – reply to this

It's good for her to stay a little longer in this fantastic institution…she may even learn a few tricks…

  51. Queen says – reply to this

She should serve the whole sentence. Normal people would have too. She knew what was going on. She helped her husband lie and cheat. She is soo into herself, and does not live in the real world.

  52. Lynda says – reply to this

She shouldn't be there at all. Joe did this crime. She was only guilty of trusting her husband. Not very bright, maybe. But not a criminal.
Notice how Joe has gone from calling her unspeakable names to singing her praises since he got her into this mess?

  53. Catherine says – reply to this

No she deserves to do all her time. She is getting way too much special treatment. If it were one of us our kids would have ended up in the system. Not get a split sentence with our spouse. Not cool or fair.

  54. deanna lopez says – reply to this

I think its fair Teresa gets out early, I actually believe & feel she shouldn't have ever been locked up!! The court system is so full of crap. Especially her worthless lawyer, I'm sure he didn't explain nor mention the consequences of her pleading guilty. I know too many similar situations like hers. I feel for her & the kids. Teresa husband is the master mind on all this, Teresa is just a loyal wife & great mom! Sorry to Joe but all I can say is "KARMA"!!

  55. shirley seaton says – reply to this

I love Therese!! I am from New Zealand. Theresa makes the show so much more addictive. And of course She should NOT go to prison. She is such a fab mum and her 4 beautiful girls needs her!!!!
