Bill Cosby Decided That It Was A Good Idea To Make A Rape Joke At One Of His Recent Comedy Shows…

Umm… WHAT!?

Bill Cosby was undoubtedly behind one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2014, and it seems as though he wants to keep that momentum going into the new year.

That's because at his comedy show in Canada on Thursday night, Bill decided to embrace his public image and made a full on date rape joke during his set.

Apparently, when a female heckler offered the comedian accused rapist a drink, he turned it down, saying:

"You have to be careful about drinking around me."

Seriously!?

As soon as the joke was made, people in the audience took to Twitter to say that while the comment was initially met with gasps, the reaction quickly turned to applause.

We don't know what's worse: The fact that Bill went ahead with such a gross joke in the first place, or the fact that the people watching encouraged it!

Let us know in the comments if you think this is just a case of Bill making fun of himself, or if he just really needs to stop talking.

Bill Cosby is the new Michael Jackson. No matter what happens from here out he will always be judged by public opinion which will go on well after his death.

id be pissed if he didnt make a joke about it in someway.. that's what comedians do.. its like not addressing the elephant in the room. as a comedian, you need to get that outta the way before goin thru the rest of ur set without all that tension

The lady was actually getting up from her seat in the front row and he asked where she was going and she said " to the concession stand to get a drink " to which he replied " you have to be careful drinking around me" inappropriate.. Yes because of the timing of everything. But there were hecklers outside and in the audience so he was basically acknowledging them so they had nothing to say to disrupt the show. People are still fans and did pay money to see it. They should be allowed to enjoy it. They might have a different perspective once it's proven or not ..
