Get Ready To Have A Wet Hot American Summer Because The Cult-Classic Is Being Made Into A Netflix Series!
We know it's still the middle of winter here in the Northern Hemisphere, but things sure are about to get hot.
That's because Netflix is bringing back Wet Hot American Summer to a local laptop near you!
That's right! The summer camp comedy is being re-imagined into an eight-episode limited-run series for the streaming platform, and we're hearing that almost all of the original cast is returning!
Elizabeth Banks, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, and Bradley Cooper are coming back for more fun at Camp Firewood, and so could other celebs like… H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Ken Marino, David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Meloni, and Molly Shannon.
It's amazing how many people in that movie went on to be HUGE stars!
We're hearing that it's gonna be a sequel, but we're not sure how far from the original 1981 setting that means it's gonna take place.
Filming begins this week, so hopefully we'll be able to get our hands on what's sure-to-be our next new obsession later this year!
