Doctor Who has been regenerated!

Well, sort of.

After a deluge of Internet outrage that Netflix and the BBC were parting ways, a Netflix spokesperson has issued a statement that their contract was, in fact, renewed!

This means that Doctor Who, Torchwood, Luther, and more shows that were in danger of leaving the streaming service will be staying put.

Unfortunately, a few shows are still leaving, including MI-5 and classic comedies Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, and Red Dwarf.

We highly recommend binge-watching all 28 episodes of Coupling right now!

For those that were wondering, Sherlock and Black Mirror were never leaving in the first place as the former is on a PBS contract and the latter isn't from the BBC at all.

But for now, Anglophiles can rest easy knowing the following BBC programs are sticking around for a while:

  • Classic Doctor Who
  • Doctor Who seasons 1 through 7
  • Copper seasons 1 and 2
  • House of Cards trilogy
  • Keeping Up Appearances season 1
  • Luther seasons 1 through 3
  • Monarch of the Glen seasons 1 through 6
  • North & South
  • Robin Hood seasons 1 through 3
  • The Buccaneers
  • The Office U.K. seasons 1 and 2
  • Top Gear seasons 17 though 20
  • Torchwood seasons 1 through 4
  • Wallander seasons 1 through 3

If your fave BBC show isn't on that list, you might want to check its availability with the quickness!

I don't believe this. You all could just be haters. I think that season 8 AND 9 of Doctor Who should stay on. LEAVE THEM ONN!!!!
