Watch Joan Rivers' First Appearance On Celebrity Apprentice Following Her Untimely Death

This really makes us miss seeing her on TV.

Joan Rivers has been gone for about four months now, but that doesn't mean she's been forgotten.

That's because the comedienne had her first guest appearance on this season of The Celebrity Apprentice on Monday night!

Joan won Donald Trump's reality show back in 2009, so she filmed some episodes before her death as a guest judge; the second of which is scheduled to air in February.

While it was amazing to see her having fun in the boardroom, we can't help but feel that the NBC competition series edited too much of her personality away in favor of being 'nice' and took away the humor that could have been a real tribute.

The video clip is a tad spoilery, but we made sure to not give the whole episode away.

Ch-ch-check out the first of Joan's post-mortem TV appearances (above)!!!

Just another Perez story without facts: "we can't help but feel that the NBC competition series edited too much of her personality away in favor of being 'nice' and took away the humor that could have been a real tribute." .Tthat really means you KNOW NOTHING so why do you consistently make stuff up to suit posting a story? Can you stick to FACTS? I suppose not. You think people care about what you think. We have minds of our own. News to you right?

i agree that the performance/appearance (not sure how to phrase it with a pseudo reality/game show) was very subdued. i am not sure if it was editing. obviously, the contestant vs judge role impacts what you are going to see. a contestant is going to be aggressive or have build up. where as the celebrity judge is going to have maybe some input or tactful commentary. i would love to have seen any outtakes to really see what kind of editing if any was done. if you recall when Joan had her Fox show, she had to be very nice because she was carrying the show nightly for her bookings. her interview style persona could run very gracious and almost too nice. But, Trump totally hyped it. and, we didn't get as much Joan (or comic Joan) as one might expect. i would have really liked to have seen a bit more of a memorial or tribute aspect to Joan like a clip from her 2009 win or something like that. It seemed like Trump just getting telling us how great Joan is. We already know that. Let Joan do her thing. She would prove it without having to say it.
