Gia Giudice Releases An Emotional Music Video Reminding Us All She's Just 13

| Filed under: Music MinuteReal HousewivesFamilyTeresa Giudice

This teen is so, so strong!

Gia Giudice is dealing with something that no one should have to go through, much less a young teenager!

Her mother, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, is locked up in prison for a little over a year, and her father Joe Giudice will serve time after that.

Sadly, Gia has received some backlash from her parents' deeds, and with her group 3KT, released this emotional song, Just 13, which she wrote with her voice teacher. She said she wrote it to explain how she's feeling and to let her fans know she's going to be okay.

Take a look at the video (above), and keep in mind that she's just 13.

Really!! Your going to sing a sad sack song about your criminal parents and use it to get attention? You can't sing, you are not special and move on…

As long as she's encouraged to put it out there, she's fair game.

  8. Dani says – reply to this

Ugly and can't sing, parents are criminals.

This is sweet, and the ditty's vocal layers and arrangements are lovely and well enough done. It's a far cry from the Wilson Bros. vocals, but reminded me of them a tinge.

Personally I don't understand why her parents did not get longer jail sentences for bilking millions of dollars from people.

Not sure I can feel sorry for this girl either. She will make tons of money from her famous criminal parents. She certainly does not appear distressed.

We can all breathe easier knowing she let her "fans" know she's going to be OK.

Her laughter at the end. Ya, shes all broken up. Probably has a stash of money obtained fraudulently. I think that's why she laughed at the end as her mother was preparing to leave for her short jail time.

Didn't watch the video, but feel sorry for what she must be going through. I got teased a lot at that age (not for my parents but for medical issues) and it is really hard on someone who is just learning how to cope. Maybe she has better coping skills if she has been in the public eye.

Look guys a lot of you are all saying her parents are criminals, she's not talented, and how she seems just fine, totally a ok! But maybe a lot of you have forgotten or not realized she's not the one who committed the crime, her parents did. She isn't her parents. It's not her fault her parents did or did not do what they did. She is just one of the people who will end up suffering for it. Imagine how you would feel when you were younger if you found out that your mom was going to jail, and right after her your dad was? The people you are used to seeing everyday, the normalcy you are used to is all going to be/is crashing down.Your mother could be millions of things, or not, even if those things were horrible, I doubt you could hate her because she's your mom, she's been with you all along, that love you have doesn't disappear. You don't see her the way others do, weather it be bad or good. Yes Gia might seem just fine, yes she might laugh at times, but that doesn't mean she isn't crying inside, hurting. Some people hide their pain better than others. Neither can you expect her to never laugh or be happy even for a second through pain. And weather she is a good singer or not isn't the point I believe she is trying to make, who cares. If you like her voice and music listen to it, if you don't, then don't.

  13. Tommycerveny says – reply to this

Some of you people are disgusting! She's a 13 year old who is hurting inside and she's choosing to deal with it in a healthy and productive way instead of going down the wrong road. I'm sure this was very therapeutic for her. Some of you are cowards with your nasty comments that you say hidden behind a computer. I guarantee most of you would never see these kind of things to this child's face cause you know it's wrong and if you could you're a monster. Grow the fuck up!

"I've got MOXY?" OMG! WORST SONG EVER RECORDED. Horrible lyrics and a very bad singing voice. It's so sad that this poor girl's douche / criminal / liar dad and dim-wit mom are allowing Gia to be exploited AGAIN. #SHAME

  19. chocochip says – reply to this

Isn't she 14 years old? If cameras have caused her problems, who let the cameraman into her house this time? Even with auto-tune, she is still OFF KEY at times. Why do you think so few people came to her post-Christmas concert?

  20. 20

    So unhealthy for her.

  21. KME says – reply to this

Sorry but Gia can't sing eyre well, even with Autitune. And this song is so amateurish and juvenile. And before the haters pile on- I liked the last song 3KT did, but Gia's voice is to weak to be featured and all songs a group does aren't hits- and this was a miss. Also whoever did the lighting in this video didn't do Gia any favors either.

  22. Kme says – reply to this

Amateurish and juvenile song sung by a girl who has minimal singing skills even when helped by Autotune.

  23. Celtic5 says – reply to this

Little girl, please go home and focus on school, friends and family. Get an education and create a full and happy life away from the cameras. Learn from the mistakes your parents have made and open your eyes to see the black hole fame really is. It has only brought pain and heartache for your family.

  24. @v@ says – reply to this

Forget them. Follow your bliss, kid.

  25. Jules says – reply to this

Oh Gia, that brought a lump to my throat. Such a strong head on such young shoulders. Your mum must be so proud of you. She will be home before you know it, and always remember how much your family love you.

  26. Jules says – reply to this

Re: Kme – Leaving nasty comments for a 13 year old???….really?? Must make you feel so much better about yourself!

  27. Olympia7 says – reply to this

Re: Jules – Jules, what you referred to as "nasty comments" is called a CRITIQUE. When you make an artistic work public, you should expect opinions. If a teacher gave her a D on a writing assignment, would you call that "nasty"? Why is her low-life "manager" putting out such poor quality work that puts Gia in this position?

  28. GPM says – reply to this

Some people seem to think it's appropriate to direct all the negative feelings they have about people who are different — immigrants, women who appear on TV and do not seem to fit the mold of how they think women should act or dress — as well as everything else they may not like (reality TV as a whole, Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, and even the collapse of the banking system) at Teresa Giudice! I can only assume that the people who make these comments are extremely weak-minded and impressionable, but it's beyond shameful that a 13-year-old girl has to call them on it!

  29. Calliope says – reply to this

Re: GPMRe: GPM – WTF? By "immigrants" do you mean criminal convicted felon immigrant Joe Giudice who's apparently also scammed hurricane victims and whose drunk driving puts my family at risk on the road? By "women on TV…" do you mean criminal convicted felon Teresa Giudice? Just wondering…

There is no doing amazing in jail. I feel for the girls. Gia has tries everything to be famous from modeling, acting and singing. At least she is trying to see what best fits her. Good luck in your search. Sing is not your best, maybe acting I think that should be the best fit for your ambition in the celebrity world.

  31. Amy says – reply to this

WOW! Amazing song and video Gia! Thank you for sharing.

Re: Random – I agree with you 100 % , my opinion about her parents may differ but my God people she is a child subjected to this not by choice , it amazes me how cruel and un kind people have become in this world and by the way anyone who talks like that about any child and is that ignurent makes them just as bad if not worse then Her parents and I can only pray they don't have children themselves because everyone needs to stop and realize our children need us to guide them and Most parents today are so absorbed with themselves and being 18 they are making the children's thinking and values Ass backwards . Good luck Gia and remember something important ( I am a father of 3 boys) take all of this for what it is Human mistakes and stupidity which as you grow the best way to become a great person and a good parent yourself is to simply LEARN from our parents mistakes ,realize and know they are human and do what they didn't do right because that will make your future brightRe: Lori-Anne Ferullo

we sick of her and he family in our face. She just wants to make money!!!! they still never payed back to all the other people the own.

  34. Ben W says – reply to this

She's 14. And with two criminals as parents and with looks being a big deal for a singer (unless you're Adele, which she will never be), she's not going to be a sleek looker and she better focus on her homework. Though her parent's imprisonment is the best thing that ever happened to her (the bizarre fake life they were leading is hardly nurturing), she better take her future seriously. And this song ain't her future.

  35. All says – reply to this

She's strong because she went to a Stay Strong party a few months ago.

I loved it and I think she is a very brave and confident whether she is 13 or 14 years-old. I feel for her like any compassionate person would…I thought. Having said that as a mother and now a grandmother of a 13 year-old girl I would consider some of the statements made in bad taste and abusive. What are we teaching the children in this world. Peace Love and good stuff Gia.

What happened to forgivness.? Are all you haters perfect, I don't think so and if your totally honest with yourselves Im betting that some of you have broken the law in some way or another, and probably if you were desperate and tempted with a large amount of money for something that you thought you might get away with you would seriously think about it, they did something very wrong, got caught and r now being punished for it, so why keep trashing the kids, give them a break, if it annoys you so much that they r making money from being on tv then it's simple…. Don't watch it, watch something that makes you feel more relaxed and at peace, I'm sure without all the stress that you feel from someone that you don't know personally and has no connection or Imput into your everyday life you will live a much longer and healthier one. We all have a right to an opinion but there's no need to be hateful and nasty.

  41. Stanger says – reply to this

No one knows what a person goes through behind close doors and these guys are just kids they don't deserve punishment it's sick to even think that and obviously every girls best friend is their mum and she's lost that so have a heart don't like it don't comment either sad how other get off on others bad time remember not everyones time will be the same it karma it will hit you back so stop being so cruel

despicable brat desperate for fame.the backlash is not due to the parents alone it's due to her own horrible behaviour. and now she is tweeting that she needs a new life, please if you need a new life and break from the backlash why are you posting it on social media, why for attention.
