After battling Nancy Grace on the legalization of marijuana, 2 Chainz might be using his debate skills to win an election!
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the rapper announced his plans to run for mayor of College Park, GA earlier this week.
"I am looking forward to running at the end of this year or next year. [I'm] waiting to see if I meet all of the qualifications."
If the rapper — whose real name is Tauheed Epps — decides to move forward with his candidacy, he will most likely be up against current mayor Jack Longino, the 20-year incumbent.
The Mercy singer isn't the first celebrity to have a desire to become a politician.
If 2 Chainz does end up rocking the vote, we're pretty sure we already know his views on marijuana!
