Yikes, it sounds like this guy should've thought twice about becoming Amanda Bynes' lawyer!
Apparently Artemio Santiago, the lawyer who the troubled star hired last October, is looking to be reimbursed for the thousands of dollars he shelled out for the actress.
The legal eagle has supposedly filed documents claiming he was Amanda's savior. He said when the 28-year-old was off of her meds four months ago, she hired him and he immediately got her back on track.

Artemio says he also became her personal assistant during that time, fetching items at her beck and call.
But FUN FACT: During this period, do you recall when Amanda was supposed to go to court, but stopped by a diner for lunch on the way there? She was reportedly with Santiago.

So much for being her saving grace — he didn't even make sure she got to court on time.
The lawyer is saying he wants roughly $16k for his services and troubles.
However, the She's the Man actress' parents and lawyer for her conservatorship have a simple response to his claims — Amanda wasn't in the right state of mind to even hire a lawyer.
Sounds like Artemio is SOL. Sucks to suck, dude.
